SERE ships with 15 hand-built locations. Type anywhere else — a mountain range, an island, a desert, a city — and the game researches it and builds a brand-new mission around its real terrain, climate and wildlife.

Your Field Manual

Built in: SURVIVAL, survival priorities, the rule of threes, PACE communications, BLISS hide sites, C.O.L.D. clothing, evasion principles and the Code of Conduct. Inspired by publicly available SERE concepts — a game, not official training.

Questions

Is SERE free?

Yes. The game is free and supported by ads. A banner appears on menus, a short ad may appear between missions, and you can optionally watch a rewarded ad to retry your last decision once per mission.

Does SERE need an account?

No. There is no sign-up. Your progress, saved mission and learned locations stay on your device.

How does it build missions for new places?

When you search a place that isn’t built in, SERE looks up its coordinates and a short description from open geographic sources, infers the terrain and climate, and generates a mission that uses those details. It needs an internet connection for that step only. Details are in the privacy policy.

Is this real military training?

No. SERE is a fictional game inspired by public survival-training concepts. It is not training, medical advice or a substitute for professional instruction, and it isn’t affiliated with the U.S. Air Force or the Department of Defense.
